Southern Okinawa

For the 4th of July weekend we decided to go hike around the Gushikawa Castle Ruins on the Southern Tip of Okinawa.  We were so exhausted by the end  of the day,  it was so much fun and wore us right out.  When I was putting Ely to bed I accidentally fell asleep in her rocking chair!

We hiked all the way over to the rope..... it was a lot harder than I anticipated with sandals on.  When the tide is out you can hike in front of the rocks and there is a little pool where the rope is.

Our little thrill seeker adventure baby.  I guess it's my own fault that she wants to climb on everything when we make her do it every other weekend.

Such a beautiful spot.  It was all misty and the sun was hitting it just right.

After some time on the beach we stayed long enough to watch the sunset.

Banana spiders in the trees.  They are as big as airplanes.
 Pictures don't do it justice.
