I love the birthdays of my family members. It is the one day out of the year that I spoil them and try my hardest to be a "yes" woman within reason. I can't believe we have a 4-year-old. Ely radiates joy. She has always been this way. When she was born, she didn't cry, they laid her on my chest, her eyes were wide open and she was so alert and curious. The first thing Sean said to her was "Oh you have such pretty eyes". She brings me such joy and teaches me so much every day. I love having her as a part of our tribe.
Opening most of her presents. She woke me up at 6 am because she was so excited.
So this Fairy baby she has been asking for, for MONTHS. We were going to save this for when Sean arrived home so he could be a part of the gift opening. I fell asleep on the couch, and she went snooping in our room and found it, and unwrapped it. So none of us got to see her excitement when she unwrapped it, but she got right to work when we pulled it out of the box. She is so silly.
