We celebrated Ely's 4th birthday a few weeks early this year! She said her favorite part was getting all of her presents from her friends. When I asked her what type of party she wanted I was expecting her to respond with Trolls, or Unicorns, or Princesses as these are some of the things she loves. I was a little surprised when she said she wanted a "Coco party with all of the colors". We were in a party store and she went to all of the Day of the Dead decor. I was a little surprised with this response but went with it and it was fun to plan and to see her enjoy. She has always loved spooky things, from Scooby Doo to Hotel Transylvania to Super Monsters. She enjoyed the movie Coco when it came out and the first time she ever had money of her own she bought the movie herself. Tonight in her prayers she thanked Heavenly Father for all of her friends and for her presents. She is really grateful for everyone who came to celebrate and she had a wonderful time.
